Lithology and Thickness
In Arab A Reservoir Mbr: Various types of fine-grained limestone, and, calcarenite with minor anhydrite near the top. Anhydrite with subordinate dolomite.
In Arab B Anhydrite Mbr: Anhydrite and minor dolomite and limestone.
In Arab B Reservoir Mbr: Generally, strongly recrystallized calcarenite (probably oolite) and finely granular dolomite.
In Arab C Anhydrite Mbr: Anhydrite and minor dolomite and limestone.
In Arab C Reservoir Mbr: Various types of fine-grained limestone, and, calcarenite and minor dolomite.
In Arab D Mbr / Arab D Anhydrite Mbr: Fine-grained limestone, in part partially dolomitized, with interbedded calcarenite (mainly fine grained) generally with an original fine-grained matrix; subordinate dolomite.

Lower contact
Regionally, the schematic strat column indicates the next older unit as Jubaila Fm. In Qatar and UAE, it is Diyab Fm

Regionally, the schematic strat column indicates the next younger unit as Hith Anhydrite Fm
